Welcome to Propaganda Headquarter's monthly newsletter. We'll give you a little bit about what we're up to and what's going on. If you're getting this, it's because you're a friend or valued client... or because we stole your business card from the "win a free lunch" bin at the coffee shop this morning.

  red bull immersive campaign
Propaganda first began our relationship with the energy drink giant back in 1998, and we were excited to produce their fan Immersive Area at this year’s US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach. Fans had the opportunity to get barreled at Teahupoo, Tahiti using 180 degree virtual reality technology, as well as “star” in a Red Bull ad with Sofia Milanovich, Andy Irons, or Jamie O’Brien. Adding to the fan experience off the beach was an 80” projection screen at Jack’s Surf Shop running videos and profiles of Red Bull athletes with an RSS feed updated daily.

  Whats new for project blue?
On the evening of July 24, members of surfing's elite gathered at Tantalum Restaurant in Long Beach to celebrate the one-year anniversary of project BLUE. For those not in the know, created by Propaganda founder Vipe Desai, project BLUE is a partnership between O'Neill, Billabong, Reef, Electric, DAKINE and Nixon to raise funds for the Surfrider Foundation through a complementary product line of project BLUE branded products. If other industries could come together for the environment the way the surf industry has, the world would be a much cleaner place. You can read what’s next for project BLUE at Shop-Eat-Surf.com

  new faces at propaganda
We'd like to welcome Kim Desai. Kim will be handling Client Development for Propaganda. She grew up on Florida's Gulf Coast, has lived in five states, and was finally transferred to Southern California in 2003 during her former life as a corporate employee. Kim received a BA from the University of Central Florida in Orlando (Go Knights!) with a double major in Broadcasting and Advertising/Public Relations. She overcame an inferiority complex to the other more well known Florida Universitie's, who shall remain nameless, after realizing she probably had more fun. Kim spent the first eight years of her career in the Automotive Industry, starting with DaimlerChrysler, where she was one of the youngest and most accomplished Sales District Manager's in the country; and ending at one of the West Coasts top retailers where she was responsible for Advertising, Marketing and business strategy. She is a volunteer Advisor at the University of California, Irvine and a Gala Chair for the International Princess Project.

Propaganda HQ is a leading youth culture Brand Consultancy.

Sweet! What’s a Brand Consultancy?

In short, we help companies develop and communicate their identities.

We specialize in, but are not limited to, youth culture. We are inspired by everything that is born of youth, energy and invention. We are pirates and we are entrepreneurs. We’ve been around the block. We don’t believe in boundaries, borders or limits. We don’t think outside the box. We ignore its existence. We believe that people hate to be sold, but love to shop. We live to inform, influence, instigate, incite and inspire ideas; Ideas that shape brands through authentic, credible and creative strategies.
